datmiznags productions
Datmiznags Productions is devoted to the creation of art that explores the interaction of the Spirit with 'everyday' life.
Christopher T. Mignanelli, writer, director, and lead producer of
The Trip There, was born in
New York in the late '70s. Formerly a novelist, community organizer, teacher, roadie, girls football coach, and
agent provocateur,
The Trip There is his first feature.
Matthew "Slick" Mignanelli serves as producer for The Trip There. He
has produced several other short films created by datmiznags
productions and appears in many of the films written and directed by
brother Christopher T. Mignanelli. You may recognize him as the
idealistic, yet confused and existentially erupting character that
pokes his way through most of Migs' work, including "Tell That
Dude," "Diaper Go On" and, most recently, "Idiot Me." These roles
often end in a physical beating for Matthew.
Matt has also been at the helm of several theatrical
productions, including "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood" and "The
Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe."
J. Francis Roach provides numerous services to the datmiznags organization.
Web maintenance is his most public face, but his most important roles are 3 a.m.
sounding-board counseling, vocabulary enhancement, and administration of cross-country
hugs.
